A network of remote wildlife cameras gather intimate footage of native wildlife from around The Lost Gardens of Heligan. A selection of these transmit live videos to this website. This is only a small selection of what can be viewed in our on-site interpretation centre; Horsemoor Hide.
Unfortunately due to a networking issue our webcams are currently not working.
The problem is more serious than we initially thought and will potentially take several weeks to put right, however both cameras are still functioning in our hide.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you we are doing all we can to rectify the problem.
For more information about our Barn Owls please see the news section of this website.
Barn Owl Cam
Day and night time viewing from inside our Barn Owl box
Our Barn Owl box has been regularly visited this winter by a pair of roosting owls. We would hope that by March they would start to use the box more frequently and begin to display signs of courtship behaviour such as mutual preening and the male provisioning the female with gifts of food.
