Blackbird fledgling
After a torrential downpour this male Blackbird was desperately feeding its newly fledged offspring.
Red-headed Cardinal Beetle (Pyrochroa serraticornis)
This beetle can often be seen feeding on flowers from May to July.
Young Rabbit
There are lots of young animals around at this time of year. Young Rabbits are often seen from Horsemoor Hide.
Leptopterna dolabrata nymph
This is the time of year when lots of insect nymphs start to emerge. These are otherwise known as Meadow Plant Bugs.
Figwort Weevil - Cionus alauda
This Weevil; which is no longer than 3mm, was found in the Lost Valley.
Who built this nest?
This neatly constructed nest was found on the floor under a pine in Heligans car park. Any suggestions as to who the builder is?
Red-legged Partridge
A pair of Red-legged Partridge have been seen regularly near the Steward's House.
